How to Setup a Custom From Address?

A custom "from address" allows you to set-up a an email address that you control as  a sending email address and is visible to the email recipients for the campaign.

To set-up a custom "From Address", go to the email marketing tab > click on the create campaign link -> and last click on the  Custom From Address link.

We use CNAME verification for our DKIM records. You will need DNS access in order to make this change.

On the Custom From Address page. You will see a button called "Add Domain" and enter the domain of the email address you want to send on behalf. And select the sending profile domain to tie it to.

Next, it will give the DNS record to create on your domain's DNS provider.

Once made you can verify a domain, the system auto retries every half an hour, it might take a while since DNS can be cached.

When the domain is verified, you can move on to the last step "Custom From Addresses" (SMTP API you can skip this not needed)

Click "Add Custom From". And enter the from address prefix and select the domain.

Once done, you can now use these custom from addresses on the classic create campaign pages!
